Roles and responsibilitiesPurpose of the Position
To maintain the regular flow of production by purchasing materials of right quality, in a right quantity at a right time from a right source, on right terms and conditions and at lower price to help the organization in attaining its objectives.
Develop and establish genuine and preferably proximate and also alternative subcontractors, evaluate them.
Procure the materials and / or services to meet the requirements of customer departments in time or maintain the stock at desired levels.
Monitoring the deliveries and their quality and in case of any non-conformity, seeking corrective and / or preventive actions and redress.
Improve and stabilize the quality and the deliveries of materials and / or services from subcontractors / Suppliers.
Obtaining the required information on the antecedents of subcontractors and organizing the records on them and arranging for the timely payments and legitimate requirements.
Develop and establish very good professional and ethical relationship with subcontractors / suppliers
Organizing Civil Works, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Engineering & Fabrication, Building Materials, Furniture and Other Spares.
Should be able to work in Cross Functional team
Proficient in Microsoft Office / ERP
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Intense focus on providing support to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
